CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. December 21, 2011 – SHINE Systems & Technologies (SHINE) welcomes a new and important member to their expanding team.  Tom Klingel joins SHINE as Vice President beginning in December 2011.

President Jeff Thomas speaks on behalf of SHINE’s expansion and the benefit of a right-hand man to expedite the growth of the company.  “Tom brings a wealth of hands-on experience and knowledge in the Federal and commercial marketplaces.  His impacts on our operations at SHINE will be immediate, and I expect him to help us deliver excellence as well as grow.”

And Tom Klingel is just the man to fill the role of Vice President. Klingel joins SHINE with over thirty-eight years of experience providing outsourcing and professional consulting services; technical and professional staff development focused on customer engagement methodology; team building; and results-oriented management. SHINE Systems welcomes Klingel from his most recent position as Senior Program Director from INDUS Corporation, but his experience stretches even broader in his extensive professional background.   Klingel features experience working as an executive and senior management roles for a number of companies including:  Customer Value Partner, Getronics (formerly Wang Global; I-NET, Inc.) and Planning Research Corporation. His experience covers the full spectrum of information technology support and services; he is a certified PMI Program Management Professional and has attained ITIL V3 Foundation certification.

Klingel’s impressive professional experience is directly related to SHINE’s business focus.  Klingel explains that his “experience is directly germane to SHINE’s current business focus and will be applicable to future directions.” Klingel plans to apply this experience to assist SHINE Systems in achieving sustained and controlled growth.

Klingel’s contribution to SHINE will prove an immediate benefit to both the company and its customers, as his experiences are applicable to SHINE’s core values and vision.  Klingel’s initial focus will be on the operational aspects of the company and attention to the company corporate infrastructure.  He plans to contribute to SHINE by both nurturing relationships with customer and strategic partners and expanding opportunities and careers for the SHINE Systems employees. Klingel explains his views on the importance to focus on SHINE’s relationship to its customers and partners:  “I firmly believe that the easiest growth is “organic growth” (growth with existing customer and partners). We want to continue to provide them with the best possible services so that they trust us implicitly – our ultimate goal is to become their trusted advisor.”

As he enters the Vice President position Klingel looks into the near future and highlights his plans to build a sustained relationship with the SHINE Systems team including both employees and customers.  Klingel states that in his future at SHINE he will “continue to build ‘trusted’ relationships with SHINE Systems’s customers and partners; build a supportive environment to assist SHINE’s employees with their career growth; and further promote SHINE’s company reputation as an innovative company driven to make SHINE’s customers successful.”

President Jeff Thomas adds “we are all looking forward to Tom’s contributions to sustained and continuous growth.”

Klingel anticipates SHINE’s exciting future, and lastly, he notes that he, along with SHINE Systems’s team, will continue to strive for success:  “A company’s success is driven by two things: inspiring leadership and dedicated and empowered employees.”
