CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – May 11, 2016: SHINE Systems & Technologies (SHINE) welcomes two new Advisors to its Board of Advisors. “After reviewing our business growth initiatives for 2016-17 our Board of Advisors is happy to welcome two new members and a new Chair this year,” said Jeff Thomas, President of SHINE Systems.
The new Advisors include Dr. William T. Scherer, Faculty Member in University of Virginia’s (UVa) Department of Systems and Information Engineering since 1986, and Mark Kelton, a retired senior Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) executive with 34 years of intelligence operations experience.
“As SHINE continues to grow in the analytics space, Dr. Scherer’s experience in analytics at UVa and with other well-known customers will offer SHINE great strategic guidance as we forge new partnerships with government agencies and private companies,” says Mr. Thomas, “And with Mr. Kelton, we have a proven leader with strong insider-threat credentials as we make strides towards a more robust cyber offering.”
Our new Chair will be returning Board Advisor, Linda Allan. “Ms. Allan’s experience growing companies will only continue to be a help to SHINE as we expand. We are excited our new Chair will serve both our strategic and tactical goals.”
