Veterans Day isn’t just about me, it’s about all of us who served. It’s a day to honor the legacy of those who came before and to lift every Veteran who continues to carry that duty forward.
Veterans Day represents the unbroken chain of service. When someone thanks me for my service, I simply say, “You are worth it.” Veterans Day, to me, is honoring the service of all Veterans and a reminder to those Veterans that the watch continues because of our love for our country and its people.
