SHINE Partners With Harris IT Services’ ITES-2S Team

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. March 4, 2009 – SHINE Systems & Technologies (SHINE) accepted an invitation to join Harris IT Services’ Team for the ITES-2S contract.

Harris IT Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Harris Corporation (www.harris.com), provides mission-critical information technology (IT) and communications services to a wide customer base including defense, intelligence, and homeland security clients. ITES-2S (Information Technology Enterprise Solutions – 2 Services) is a broadly written, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle with a $20 billion ceiling and 9-year period of performance (through December 2015).  Army, DoD, and other Federal agencies may purchase services through the following ITES-2S Task Areas:

  • Business Process Reengineering
  • Information Systems Security
  • Information Assurance
  • IT Services
  • Network Support
  • Systems Operations and Maintenance
  • Program/Project Management
  • Enterprise Design, Integration, and Consolidation
  • Education and Training
